CTMM (bleached chemical-thermomechanical mass) — cellulose substitute — refers to fibrous semi-finished products of high yield (85-92%). CTMM is used as a fibrous semi-finished product in the composition of a wide range of paper products. According to its basic properties unbleached TMM is comparable with unbleached cellulose produced from the corresponding wood species. Its application reduces production costs, improves volume weight indicators and conditions of paper or cardboard molding.
